Overview

Medit8z Fishing

A progression-based fishing system for QBX Core with 35 fish species, a 5-tree skill system, daily and weekly challenges, dynamic pricing, and boat rentals. Built server-authoritative from the ground up — every catch, weight, rarity, and minigame timing is validated server-side.

What it does

  • 35 fish species — 15 freshwater + 20 saltwater, each with rarity, weight ranges, depth zones, base price, and XP reward
  • Equipment progression — 5 rods, 5 reels, 4 lines, 16 baits, 14 lures, and 4 tackle box tiers (10–50 slots)
  • Tackle box stashes — per-instance Ox Inventory stashes that whitelist fishing items only
  • Skill tree — multi-rank skills covering catch rate, weight bonus, durability, repair cost, double-catch chance, minigame skip, and more
  • Levels and prestige — 50 levels, 10 prestige tiers, level-gated locations and depth zones (shore → shallow → deep → abyss)
  • Challenges and achievements — auto-generated daily/weekly challenges scaled to player level, plus permanent titles from achievements and weekly leaderboards
  • Dynamic pricing — server-wide multipliers depreciate with sales volume and recover over time
  • Leaderboards — all-time and weekly across XP, biggest catch, fish count, legendaries, and earnings
  • Boat rentals — configurable rental points and boats with deposit, persistence, and level gating
  • Fishing journal — single-item NUI showing stats, encyclopedia, achievements, challenges, and leaderboards in one batched callback
  • Anti-exploit — server-determined fish selection, weight, trophy status, time of day, and depth zone; minimum minigame time enforced; rod/reel/bait/lure verified by inventory presence on every catch
